This is a reincarnation of Butterflys, with new management. They haven’t been open long, and as such I’ll give them the benefit of doubt and assume they are simply going through some initial teething problems, and may give them another go. We came here for lunch on a Sunday, so there was no one around. Ordering took a while, and they struggled to find us change for our cash payment. The staff member was still getting used to the systems and so imagine that’s why she overcharged us $ 8 and didn’t notice until we pointed it out. The drinks came out quickly, and the coffee was reasonable, although my green tea came with milk and sugar which was a little odd. The wait staff seemed very inexperienced, although really friendly and happy to answer questions about the owners intentions for developing into the upstairs area as well. The food arrived quickly, and was also reasonable — my bacon and eggs were quite edible. I did notice that the chalkboard signs up outside all had various interesting spellings for the food and drinks(e.g. coffee, coff, and coffe), and that could have been done a bit more professionally. Their website appears to be a blank page, which I am also going to assume is a teething problem… I will be interested to see what this place is like once they have found their feet, perhaps I will try again in a few months.
