This kiosk is really not all it’s hyped up to be. Whilst it’s in a great location, the food is very basic & overpriced. Staff are friendly majority of the time, but they don’t always follow«the customer is always right». This place is good for a quick fix. The food is of good quality, but it is overpriced.

Set right opposite the iconic Largs Pier hotel is the Largs Kiosk — serving up everything you need to top off a day of surf and sand. Namely: ice cream and hot chips. This brightly coloured kiosk has been a familiar sight for locals for a long time now, and is still a must do when you’re beaching it up. Yes the floor is full of sand, and the serving staff are about 12 years old. But they do really good hot chips and have the usual selection of lollies, drinks, ice blocks and ice cream that any beachside kiosk needs. There are a bunch of tables both inside and outside where you can enjoy your meal, and huge windows so you can check out the view, but I say if you’re at the beach anyway, go take that box of hot chips on the dunes and listen to the waves. Then perhaps a post-meal nap in the sunshine.
