There is not much in the way of coffee on Railway parade Kogtown. Pappa Roti is there with the sweet nectar of life. To be honest the coffee is pretty bloody average, and expensive for what it is. $ 4.80 for a large soy flat white. But beggars can’t be choosers. It’s that, or walk all the way to Kogarah town center to the Coffee Club. Which I refuse to do. What they do make is something that the devil thought up. Coffee bun. The Coffee bun or «Roti» is a sweet soft bread covered in caramlised coffee condensed milk something or other and inside is melted butter. I can say these have contributed to about a 3kg weight gain for me in the past 12 months, but I loved every moment of it on my lips. Sweet delicious bun, sweet nectar of life.
