Yong Jing has two Chinese restaurant’s within walking distance of each other on Anzac Parade in Kingsford, this is my favourite of the two, mainly because of the name. In fact I dined at Yong Jing’s Kitchen Enlightenment because I thought it was such a cool name. The food however is very good too. Like Yong Jing’s other restaurant the menu is divided into North and South China. I ordered from South China and had Spicy Beef in Black Pepper Sauce. I should have taken note of the words spicy and pepper in the same dish, as it was a bit spicier than I anticipated. Don’t get me wrong it was delicious and I am glad I ordered it, but it was very spicy. The restaurant also has a very comfortable well set out feel, I don’t usually get too fussed about décor if the food is good, but sometimes I do like to sit in a stylish environment and Yong Jing’s Kitchen offers this enlightenment.
