I offer an ‘in situ’ piano tuning and regulation service to all piano enthusiasts; private or commercial situations; upright or grand pianos; moder Asian or older European instruments.

All areas of the Melbourne metropolitan area are encompassed in the service which is a traditional one — includes cleaning under the keys (the keybed) prior to tuning.

Minor regulations may be required and incurr minimally extra charges.

Arrangement is by cash and is endorsed by 33 years experience.

History

Established in 1980.

Tuning was initially undetaken ‘on the road’ in the North East of Victoria /​the Southtern Riverina /​Sydney NSW but has, in recent years, been concentrated in Melbourne principally.

Due to the reduction in general interest in the piano only an exclusive compliment of the population is concerned with retaining and maintaing a piano — a feature of the previous era but no less significant in the orchestras of the 21 st century.

Abcon Pianos has never maintained a ‘shop-​front’; despite this we have three fine pianos available for sale presently — availble for inspection upon request and by arrangement.
