115 Grill & Brewhouse

Food was above average but service atrocious! I counted 6 different wait staff serving our table. Got the vego order wrong. Left one of us without a knife and fork. Not worth $ 250 for 4 people.

Attached to the Kew Best Western, this feels a notch or two above most hotel lobby bars.
I can only really review the Brewhouse side of things here as yet to eat anything above the hot chips, but always plan to.
Last time we were here things were absolutely bustling — popular Friday night happy hour spot in Kew it seems, especially with the older crowd. The downside is when full the noise is an absolute din and when standing at the bar we couldn’t hear each other.
We asked if we could sit at the many empty tables at the ‘grill’ side of things but were told only if we were eating a meal, which was a bit precious I thought (especially as we were guests of the hotel). The manager confirmed we couldn’t sit down, but gave us the tip that in 3 and a half mins it’d clear out, which it did on clockwork as the happy hour prices evaporated and so did the people.
Other than that, love sampling some nice craft beer somewhere so local to us, and have to end on a super-​positive note because having stayed at the hotel the night before, the manager of the bar let my then wife-​to-​be and her bridal party take over the place the morning of our wedding for some cool photos (including her pouring her own beer behind the counter, in full wedding dress). Cheers for that!

Sorry guys but very disappointing quality of food.
My 14hr slow cooked Veal shank came out raw ??? Was then replaced with a steak which was cooked perfectly but was lacking flavour if not for the red wine jus.

Fast becoming the local bar for 20 something’s trying the house beers as well as mums and dads having after work and/​or catch up drinks. Happy hour every day, friendly staff, delicious bar snacks and great atmosphere.
Having said that, it can get noisy and quite busy on a Friday night but still a great place to unwind with friends.
