As the main hub for the interstate trains (or what’s left of them) in Adelaide this place really has a lot to be desired. Maybe the government is trying to discourage people from travelling to Adelaide by train because despite this place being a train station you cannot catch any of the suburban trains from here, nor are there any buses — only taxis and a shuttle bus, which happen to be the same price. Unfortunately, if you want to catch the Gahn, or the Indian Pacific (or have just jumped off of them) then you are basically going to have to make your own way to your hotel. Mind you, considering only one train (if that) leaves this place a day then there is probably no huge call to have a regular public transport stop here. Still, it would be helpful.
