I’m pretty sure after a family tragedy this takeaway changed hands. which is a big pity as the previous owners served up some of the most amazing food I’ve ever tasted. The new owners while trying hard don’t have the same touch. The burgers are lackluster, small and tasteless/​greasy. The serving sizes are smaller and the salads which were once fresh, crisp and tasty are small, meagre and unimpressive. The chips have gone from being crisp, golden and tasty to greasy and soggy. Give it a miss.

This business has recently been bought by new management and this doesn’t seem to have changed a relatively good Seafood take-​away/​restaurant. There are tables and toilets and a fairly secluded area to dine. Recently added are special packs in different price ranges to cater for all.
Sauces and extras are availacle and even a frozen coke machine and ice cream. Parking is close by and secure.

The name of the place should give away this review. Seafood on The Rocks is clever enough name to have got me to munch down there. However, its not always been consistent in my opinion.
First experience was like wow. For the low price of ten dollars I was able to walk away with a works burger and a giant serving of chips. The burger itself was this delicious seasoned meat patty, crispy bacon, cheese, egg, a sweet pineapple and some fresh as crisp as salad. The chips, for only three bucks, were enough to spread around for two mates and me.
Second experience, the chips had dramatically reduced in volume and the fish was over cooked and the batter had a bit of a burnt taste to it. However, in saying this, my friend’s fish and chip order was perfectly cooked. And no he didn’t let me have any either.
So, give Seafood on The Rocks a try, but eat in so if anything isn’t to your likeing you can get them to remake it.
