Excellent value, and good, tasty food. They also take phone orders which saves a lot of time. The oil they use seems to be fresh and they don’t over-do the salt as so many others do. The shop is scrupulously clean and you don’t leave the place smelling of fish and chips, unlike a lot of other places that sell fried food. The unfailingly polite owner seems to be competent and customer-oriented. It would be nice if they served other lines of food besides fish and chips. Maybe steamed vegetables or perhaps even takeaway oriental food? Would also be good if they labelled the oil so we know if it contains trans-fats or not. The«vegetable oil» that many establishments use is pretty unhealthy. Worth a try — I have been to this shop twice and plan to return. 23 Nov 2015 Addendum: I have not been in Perth for awhile. Driving past today, I notice the owner has since added Japanese food to her menu. I have not tried it yet but am hopeful she will use gluten free soy sauce and other quality ingredients. The regular soy sauce used by most faux Japanese restaurants makes a lot of people sick. It would be nice if she added a few Korean dishes to the menu. Treats like bulgoggi, bibimbap etc are sure to bring people in and add to the international gentrification of the area. Khamsa Hamida.

Has improved a lot since they changed the name. You can get a good sized serving of fish and chips for under 10 bucks and it tastes pretty good. It’s not gourmet but it’s pretty good for a local fish and chip shop.
