Just called up today to see if they had a particular suit in stock. Absolutely helpless. The guy said he had been there two weeks and had not been trained to look up inventory. Seriously!!!

YD seems like it should be a sweet store at a quick glance. Nice clean presentation, helpful assistants.
But it’s not that good. They’re the kind of clothes that a dude who rocks snakeskin shoes with super pointy ends would wear.
All the shirts are a little too shiny, or over the top or poorly cut for my liking.
During the winter there is an ok selection of sweaters and jackets but once again the sizing is never too great unless you’re 5’9 and 70 kilos.
Occasionally I will be surprised by the YD selection but really I don’t know why I keep looking there.

YD is one of the better men’s fashion chain stores. They have a great range of clothes, casual, work or party. A lot of are from big recognisable brands like Calvin Klein and Menlo. The prices are reasonable for the quality that you get. At the Karrinyup store the staff have always been happy to help you choose and outfit or find the right sizes, without being too pushy on the sales. Stock changes quite regularly, so there is always something new instore to check out.
