Karrinyup Shopping Centre is a good place to go if you’re looking for men’s wedding bands.
They have quite a few jewellery stores there, with a range in price and quality. It’s surprisingly hard to find the perfect plain gold wedding band for a dude.
We went to every jeweller, and prices varied from about $ 300 to $ 1,000+. The rings at the cheaper end of the scale seemed very light and tinny, and didn’t feel like they would last 5 years. My partner wasn’t looking for tungsten or any of the new modern looking designs or styles, which tended to be more expensive, so that was great.
Most of the jewellers had the plain gold men’s wedding bands, but all of them except one at Michael Hill had something we didn’t like about them. They were either too thick or too thin, or weren’t rounded enough at the edge.
All the jewellers seemed to be on sale the day we went, with some offering up to 40% off the standard price. Michael Hill was one of the most expensive for the style band we wanted, so we asked if they could try and match the price from any of the other jewellers and they gave us a bit of a discount. Resizing took around a week. Customer service was very friendly and my partner’s really happy with his ring and has taken to wearing it around the house, even though we’re not married yet.
This review is just for men’s wedding bands only, there wasn’t really anything else in the store that was my taste.

Then shut up and wait and see what they say … you got nothing to lose… try it when making any major purchase …
