Great shopping centre with a wide variety of shops and on site free parking. There is a food court, Myers and all the usual shops which makes it a nice place to kill a few hours.

This shopping centre is just that little bit further than Innaloo so whatever shops they don’t have at Innaloo they have at Karrinyup Shopping Centre including one of my favourite shops Lush Homemade Cosmetics. It has some great shops, a great food hall & lots of parking except at Christmas time but that is like all the other shopping centres at that time of year. It also hosts a swap-meet on Sunday mornings under one of the car parks which you can sell your wanted items for $ 10 a bay.

One of the best shopping centres in Perth. I always find a parking spot pretty easily. They often do great school holiday activities for the kids(except those expensive trampolines!) and during term they have story time & activity Wednesday mornings. They have also just added a kids play area to the foot court alfresco area which is good except that it is right near the automatic doors that go out into a busy carpark so you need to stay very close to little ones. Great range of shops. Free wifi!

I work in the centre and i definitely think it is the nicest shopping centre in Perth. The actual centre is very nice, clean and modern and all round has a nice feel to it. It’s great for Myer and David Jones and also has lots of specialty stores such as Lush, Oroton, Mimco, T2, Howards Storage World, ABC Shop, Lorna Jane etc. If you’re looking for Target or K-mart don’t bother, unfortunately Karrinyup chooses to have ONE discount retailer. BIG W, not so great. Other than that it also has Woolworths, a really good butcher and Catalanos fish!

Wide car spaces, plenty of parking, free wi-fi in the centre, Woolworths, Big W, Myer and David Jones… it’s a pretty good place to stop for a few hours. All the banks, all the major stores including Lululemon, Mimco, Oroton, Poitix, Howards Storage and plenty more are on offer. If you can’t find a gift for that someone special, the correct bank, your preferred health insurer, or something to eat, then you aren’t trying.

In terms of shopping centres, Karrinyup is definitely one of my favourites. The following tend to be on my mall tour when I visit: DJs Myer General Pants Sportsgirl Boost Juice(gotta rehydrate for all that shopping) Review Forever New(if I’m feeling girly) Mecca Hobbs Food Court Post office then home. The only disappointment is the food court, nothing ever takes my fancy much there, and I think a shopping centre of Karrinyup’s stature needs a better food court to reflect that. A great sandwich and salad bar or a Mexican addition would be great. Also do you ever notice how people tend to get quite dressed up to go shopping at Karrinyup? They now have free Wi-Fi centre-wide.

I work in the centre and it’s not too shabby! Lunch-time shopping breaks occur more than I’d care to admit. Mecca, French Connection, DJs, Myer, Mimco, Oroton… Karrinyup really has it going on! The latest addition of General Pants has also put a smile on my dile :) But the food court is awful, really. You’re(kinda) out of luck if you’re a vego, and expect to pay around $ 7 for some sushi. I don’t understand how there isn’t a Subway? That just doesn’t sit right with me!

Although it’s not a huge mall like the ones I’m used to in Canada, Karrinyup has everything you need in one convenient package! They have all the high-end retailers, Big W, Myer, David Jones, a post office, all the major banks, two pharmacies, a tailor shop, liquor land, and a nail salon! I found it to be a very convenient mall to do some shopping and perhaps run a few errands as well. I woud have totally given this place 5 stars if their food court wasn’t so terrible. The food court is extremely over-priced and the food is sub-par or mediocre at best. Go shopping here but eat somewhere else.

Karrinyup is probably one of the nicer shopping centres, save for its horrible and outdated exterior — once you get past that there is everything you need. It has David Jones and Myer as well as all the regular chain stores you love and hate, the first level is dedicated to your more affordable stores like Jay Jays, Dotti, Sports Girl, Diva… and upstairs are the slightly dearer stores like Mimco, Kookai, Nine West, Lululemon as well as many homewares stores. If chain stores are what you’re after, and you want to shop in a slightly more upmarket and less rowdy crowd Karrinyup is the perfect place.

This 80s icon(I presume it is, anyway) protrudes into the sky like a giant Rubik’s Cube, serving as a reminder to all about a time when bigger was always better. I love the Karrinyup of now but I adore the Karrinyup of yesteryear. My Nana used to take me and my sisters to this shoppers wonderland. We’d be transfixed by a variety of glamorous goods and deluxe treats. And we’d always leave with bulging bags and big smiles. Always. So I suppose I’m predisposed to love this shopper’s paradise and I really do. It has an infinite number of great stores, some chain, some original and there is just a nice atmosphere about Karrinyup Shopping Centre. It seems the relaxing vibes from the beach have somehow found their way here. The staff in the shops are usually friendly and the food hall… go to the food hall. The car park is massive but it needs to be to accommodate the thousands of people who flock to this«Star of the North». Parking can still be a problem in peak times but a bit of a wait is worth it for the wondrous treasures that lie inside the Rubik’s Cube. You will have to go and play with the puzzle yourself to see what I mean.

For a shopping centre that’s not owned by retail giant Westfield, Karrinyup(Karr-in-up, and not Karen-yup, as I embarrassingly found out when I first arrived in Perth) seems to be holding it’s own as a shopping destination for those North of the River. With stores like Mimco, Peter Alexander, Lulu Lemon and both David Jones and Myer, Karrinyup attracts a more stylish, refined kind of shopper with plenty of expendable income. Don’t mistake this description for a toffee-nosed kind of consumer though, everyone is quite friendly and the pace is here relaxed without any pedestrian congestion(I’m looking at you, Cockburn Gateways!). I like it because there’s hardly a tween age mall rat in sight! I think it has something to do with the lack of a cinema within the complex. It’s also easy to get to by public transport and also has free parking.

Karrinyup has a pretty good balance going on, it’s not too big so it’s swamped with people, and it has all the main stores you’d know as well as a few more. With a Myer and David Jones on each end and high end brand stores in between it’s market tends to be for the rich stay at home mums, who come for a shop and coffee catch up with friends. It’s nice though because it doesn’t have a rushed, intense vibe about the place,(except Christmas of course) it’s a little more relaxed. The outside is a little dingy, the building isn’t too nice to look at, but inside its clean and fairly spacious. Parking is spread out all around, which is a little disorientating, but you’ll always get a space! It’s got all the shops you’re after for food, clothes, coffee, books, basic necessities. It just needs a JB, but other than that it’s all here.

I think sometimes KY is overrated but then I remember there is Mimco, Oroton, Nine West, Wittner’s and Mecca. All of the finest brands under one roof. It is basically heaven on earth. I need a break from the the mundane shopping experience that can be delivered elsewhere. If you’re a lover of designer handbags(Mimco/Oroton) or you love stationery(Kiki.K) or if you need a new pair of gorgeous slippers(Peter Alexander) this place has got your back. I occasionally love travelling out to Karrinyup just to soak up the loveliness that is the shopping centre.
