Since 1997, Karen has led her expert team on a journey of professional excellence. Karen established the resort-​style relaxation, health and beauty Clinic& spa in 2004 after developing and expanding her beauty salon, Le Beau Express Salon, over seven years. Karen discovered a gap in the market for an exclusive day spa south of the river and her sanctuary has grown from strength to strength.

Le Beau Day Spa is an authentic spa, situated in Kardinya, & has been carefully designed creating a harmonious, relaxing, & luxurious environment for all who enter its abode. Le Beau Has become well recognized as a clinic offering high end services.

Building this business has been a very big part of my life. Nurturing Le Beau Clinic& Spa from a one person to 15 person team and seeing it grow from a room in a hair salon to a great successful business with a great reputation for excellence. With an opening budget of only $ 5,000 when i opened by first salon i am so proud, I created, sourced, nurtured, oversaw & built this business. As owner, I have finalised all details and developed most of the ideas to make Le Beau the thriving, successful haven of luxury that it is today.

My personal positivity & resilience were tested in 1997 when I was diagnosed with a hemorrhage in the brain. This was during the first year of the Salon’s operation and created in me a determination to stay focussed & succeed not only in literally surviving, but in business as well! From this lesson, I have realised that we must always live in the moment and do everything we can today, and to help people understand the importance of taking care of themselves.
