I recently ordered dinner form Kanda and had it delivered. Not only was everything completely cold, but when my friends and I reheated the food it tasted disgustingly sweet and gluggy. The tofu was prepackaged, premarinated. The Salmon smelt of fish. the rice was a brick of glue. I wouldn’t feed it to my dog, if I had one…

They have the traditional sushi platter served on a boat, however I didn’t realise this until I was half way through my main. Darn it. We had entrees of gyoza and some eggplant thing with a super sweet syrupy sauce — both sensational. Mains were teriyaki chicken and katsudon curry with rice. The texture of the pork/katsudon batter was beautiful. We followed it up with dessert. Green tea ice cream = yum. Tempura banana = odd, not very enjoyable. The staff are attentive and polite. The journey to use their toilets is one you have to see to believe — you begin to worry about how dark it gets and if you’re about to walk into their house. I have to go back to try the sushi boat!
