Cafe Decadence

You have to have notions about yourself when you name your café decadent by title. It’s not a bad spot but if I had to judge it based alone on the quality of the coffee I wouldn’t be too impressed. but then again, I am a coffee snob so you may have to judge for yourself.
The lunch options are yuor usual café (not exactly gourmet) menu types.
It is a handy spot to get away form the school kids in the food court but I have definitely had better.

This is a nice lunch stop at the Innaloo shopping complex (of hell) to escape the frantic confusion and urge to spend spend spend. I opted to spend some mother daughter time with my mum at this small but clean and well presented café.
There is nothing super special in terms of food variety but most options are health conscious and very fresh.
I opted for the toasted sandwich with bacon, lettuce and tomato. It was only the bread that was very lightly toasted or should I say frightened, and no cheese to be seen. In this regard I’m not sure why they even bothered to place it in the toasted sandwich section.
The service was friendly and quite prompt it is a nice spot and I did enjoy the sandwich after the initial disappointment.

After spending several hours shopping at Westfield Innaloo I needed a break. I was hungry, thirsty and tired. Cruised by the food court area. It was packed, with lots of loud kids running around. As I was enjoying a morning without my own child I decided to seek something a little calmer for my break. I found Café Decadence. I must admit that a lot of coffee shops in our suburban shopping centres are not the greatest. But it was calm and peaceful compared to the scene at the food court.
I decided to go with the coffee and cake. Some caffiene and sugar should give me the energy to get through the rest of the days errands. I braced myself for crap coffee and dry cake. I silently worked on a backup plan. Café Decadence, I owe you an apology. The coffee was pretty good, the cake moist and sweet without being overpowering. I will be back to try more of your fare in the future.
