History

Established in 1995.

The forest of Rainesforest Day Spa has some trees that have been growing for over 100 years. Set amongst a natural and sustainable bush setting, Rainesforest Day Spa has kept it’s commitment to celebrating all things natural, with simple natural materials, plants and comfortably welcoming, yet simple decors. Three recycled buildings provide a gentle and homely treatment space, and are made special with exclusive-​use outdoor spa/​sauna relaxation areas. The business has been a long-​term favourite with local residents, with some therapist team members having assisted clients for upwards of 10 years. Rainesforest Day Spa has provided over 250,000 treatment hours, in 11 treatment rooms, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year, over 18 years of service. We are proud to continue to exist to ‘help clients relax their way to better health’, to take time out to relax and refresh themselves, restore their inner peace, and find greater health with less stressfulness in today’s busy lifestyle choices.

Business Owner

Hello, my name is Heather Raines, and I am Mother of Rainesforest Day Spa. We have a family of 45 team members, with everyone committed to making Rainesforest a special place for our clients. I wear many hats. I am a working therapist with 20 years experience, an industry trainer, our Workplace Health and Safety Officer, Manager, Mentor and Mother for many. Rainesforest Day Spa has been created to be welcoming to everyone, our local families, our community around us needing support and assistance, individuals with health issues, life issues, and everyone needing a place of caring, support and acceptance. We offer a natural and sustainable green place of refreshment and relaxation. My wish is that everyone coming to Rainesforest will feel cared for in an honest and truthful way. We have Australian Health Fund Provider status, and a reputation for consistently wanting to provide help and support towards better health. Being a massage therapist is my greatest joy.
