Great local place for coffee, home made cakes and slices, wicked French Toast. Good Juices, milkshakes and smoothies, and great staff. Comfy seating and lounges makes it a lovely spot for a coffee and a chill out. One word of caution, if you order a smoothie, be sure to tell them you want it with yogurt, not ice cream, as they may not ask you, and the ice cream version is a bit sickly. Just been back for a Saturday brunch, and the place was jumping! Fantastic Eggs Benedict.

It’s been aaaaaages since my last review, so let’s start with one of the few places I’m definitely a regular at! Unwritten is supposed to be a book café shop, but it’s just a regular café, with smooth lattes, delicious pastries and a range of meal options, with a bookshelf filled with books to borrow and read on the spot. They have a cute but small terrace on the front that can get very hot on a sunny day. The staff is super friendly and now that I’m there often enough, they don’t even give me a table number anymore! There are a couple of big tables for groups, a few couches and bat stools with a view, so wether your own your own or with a bunch of friends and their little humans, there will be a seat for you. If can get busy just before school starts(during the week) or a bit after 9:30 on the weekends. Don’t forget to take a coffee card to get a free coffee for every 9 or 10. It’s a great excuse to pay your friend’s coffees ;)

Hiding just off Pittwater Road is one of the nicest little coffee shops you will ever run into! It has loads of space inside, just like a nice loungeroom. There are books all over the walls and great tunes playing in the background. There are just a few seats outside for those seeking the sun, half of the outside seats are even flagged as ‘non smoking’. The do a perfect coffee, nothing special or fancy, just great coffee. They also do food, good food just a little small.
