Here on Origin night, good crowd and good food
The mixed grill was awesome and the garlic bread topped with Parmesan was terrific. Beer cold, what more could you ask for?

I haven’t been here in the evening, but often come for breakfast on the weekend. The food is good, the portion sizes are very friendly, and it’s cheap.
The venue is very nice — as mentioned in another review it’s been recently renovated. This includes a children’s playground, a big outdoor screen for sort events, and a bunch booths for the bistro area.
The building has parking underneath it, which makes it easy to get to even though it’s in Hunters Hill.
On the breakfast menu I can’t go past their big breakfast, but the benedict and other items look good too.
There’s a bunch of decent beers on tap, and the pokie room is tucked away so you don’t have to see it unless you want to.
All in all a well done pub restoration in the suburbs.

This pub is like a second local for me and they also did renovations last year where they opened up the kitchen area and the outdoor courtyard in the back.
Great burgers as that’s all I’ve eaten so far!
Good for a punt as there is a tab at the front bar near the pokies area.
You can also hire the upstairs area for functions etc. I have yet to visit upstairs as we always tend to sit downstairs and chill with the oldies ;)
The pub generally closes about midnight which is a wee bit early i think but then sometimes its always good to wake up the next day without a hangover.
