Helen B.

Business Owner

Helen is a full time artist with Rainbow Face Painting, starting the business as a creative outlet and seeking a flexible job she could manage from home. Having two young children herself, a business working with children and involving such a creative freestyle art seemed to be a perfect combination. Helen has attended many workshops and courses over the years in areas of the face painting industry including business skills, graffiti and fine body art, airbrushing and special effects makeup and lots of new face painting techniques. She has attended national face and body conferences even competing in national competitions, and has had her artwork published in fashion magazines. Perhaps the highlight so far has been her ‘Turning Heads Art Crown Project’, which involved painting the heads of alopecians from around Australia, who have lost their hair due to a rare autoimmune disease, to help raise awareness of the condition.
