staff rude and closed lanes and til early because they felt like it, refused to exchange money so we could use the games. not a pleasant experience. the staff should be doing their job and keeping it open until the last customer is happy. that’s a business, very disappointed with this experience.

«Strike» is a favourite word here and it is not when someone walks off the job. The AMF Ten Pn Bowling Centre at Hornsby is well equipped for all ages and is a colourful well run place to enjoy a game of bowling with friends. The score boards are completely electronic and the animated movie clips of cartoon ducks jumping up and down when a «strike» or a «spare» is made is amusing. The music and the lights of the alleyways are encouraging for everyone… have fun at this place. Food and drinks are available at there is comfortable seating away from the playing area. No one should have a sad time here. Even for the novice player there is plenty of encouragement.

This place brings back memories of a mis-spent youth. Living in the USA my mates and I would wash cars all morning, grab a pizza for lunch, and then bowl all afternoon(with more than a few bowls of onion rings). While the onion rings aren’t available, and pizza is kinda off the menu for me, taking my boys bowling was awesome fun. We got to take advantage of a coupon that my eldest got from school for $ 8 school holiday games(somewhat more expensive than it use to be it seems). What was really cool was that the lane we used had bumpers that automatically appeared when ever it was my son’s turn, and then disappeared when it was mine. While I did not break 200 that day, 140 wasn’t too shabby for old times sake. Best of all, my son is now pestering me to go back again soon. The service and atmosphere here was great. Will certainly be back.
