Did a detour after 24hrs of travel from New York and were seeking out good take away coffee for our drive back home to the Gold Coast.

Visiting my folks this morning and needing a coffee, a good coffee. Found Stomp on Unilocal and it’s only 5 minutes away. Located in a very busy little suburban centre on a very busy suburban road. Stomp is the best looking shop in the block. Not big, but cute and functional. Lots of different types of seating inside and out.
Food and menu looks diverse and delicious. But we just needed coffee. Beans by Veniziano. Coffee was well made and a perfect temperature. We did sneak in a coconut macaroon that was divine. Staff are relaxed and friendly.
Parking is right out front, so it was a bit noisy out there. Choice seating inside for sur.

First up — they serve Veneziano coffee and do it consistently brilliant! Their staff are great at remembering your name, order and love to ask how your doing. Sonya (owner) is a legend and leads a great team of baristas. Being close to a school means there are often students or mums there around school start & finish but if you are cool with that then get there when u can for an awesome coffee. Only wish would be no EFTPOS minimum.

OK — I worked in the CBD for a long time and got used to a particular coffee joint that in my opinion did the «Best Coffee in Brisbane» (obviously I Unilocaled that!).
So on the weekends, I was lost… at home… craving a coffee and alas, never finding one in the proximity that satisfied me in the same way. NO LONGER!
Stomp Espresso makes PERFECT coffee. I have never been disappointed and in fact I have dealt the espresso to my fellow coffee lovers, getting them hooked on it’s deliciousness.
Go there — or be square. In fact I might be going there right now to get my daily fix.
