So, Gather is the trinket store of my heart. It’s like I’ve been waiting my whole Hobart life for this store to arrive and tickle my every fancy.
Full of many lovely and primarily local gifts, jewellery and homewares, Gather Handmade is an absolute delight but I do warn you, don’t head in there if you’re on a tight budget. It’s one of those shops I can’t ever just window-​shop in. Even if it’s just something small, like a pair of pineapple stud earrings or a candle that smells like gingerbread, I WILL spend at least a small amount of money in here.
It’s also just a beautiful store. Suze has a great eye for curation and the colour palette is a stunner. I’m pretty sure it’s done on purpose in a way that subconsciously encourages me to spend, spend, spend.
SO I DO.
