Bookshop has an interior design, cooking section to name a couple. There is a café within which allows you to sit down, take your time and read through some of the books of interest. The dandelion tea was amazing and the guy even served it with honey! There is also a light lunch menu for which I selected the salmon quiche and salad. Perfect!

With chain bookstores dropping like flies, those of you who seek a broad range could do no better than Fullers. Independently-owned, it is filled with character — and books on any subject you could want. It’s spread pretty evenly between fiction and non-fiction, and performs with style many of the flourishes one would expect from a good independent: excellent ancillary products(notepads and stationery, hipster bric-à-brac)’ fabulous sale tables(which, unlike those in chain bookstores, feature books that sane people might actually want to buy!), ands knowledgeable and quirky staff. Best of all? The back part of the store is devoted to a café which is excellent in its own right: decent coffee and a small but tasty range of light snacks that can be enjoyed while reading your new literary acquisitions. Sit in the right spot and you’ll get a cracking view of Mt Wellington, too.

Fullers is an incredible bookshop, filled(Fulled?) with incredible things. Every genre is covered(including a «Tasmania» genre, of course), as well as a plentiful stationery section and the all-important book-themed bric-à-brac(think mugs, tea towels, etc). Proudly independent and open seven days a week, this seems to be the place to go for everything reading-related. Once you’ve made your purchase, you’re welcome to get straight into it by settling down for a cup of coffee in Fullers’ own Afterword Café, located inside the bookshop. I’m so glad I stumbled across this treasure; I have no doubt the girls in here will know me by name very soon.
