Yup, this place is the bomb. Awesome food and a great drinks list. I had the steak and was very impressed. Not the cheapest joint in town, but easily the best. The front section is great for a bit of fun — there was a live band the night we went! Thoroughly recommend it!

Posh Pub in the centre of Hobart, with a lot of charm and great food. Enjoyed a wonderful lunch, even showed up half and hour before the kitchen closed, but we were still seated and made to feel welcomed. Strongly recommend

Welcome to parma heaven. I can overlook the Brunswick calling them«parmis» when the menu of toppings is as long as my forearm and I get my choice of chicken or wallaby, served with tasty chips and delivered surprisingly quickly(though I’ll admit it was a quiet afternoon that I visited). Mulled wine in the winter is proper delicious, bubbling away in a slow cooker. I’m not ashamed to admit that my friends and I drank almost the entire thing as we reclined on the longest chesterfield couch I’ve ever encountered.(I’d steal it if I thought it could fit in my house, or if I thought I’d stand a chance of physically bring able to move it at all.)

The Brunswick Hotel has gone through a pretty major transformation in the last few years. It used to be known as a pretty seedy and rough pub, but no more! The crowd has changed, both the interior and exterior look great, the staff are friendly and the food is pretty good. After their impressive rejuvenation the Brunswick is now the nicest pub in the CBD.
