I really like this place. Great little take-away shop, with the usual fried, calorie-laden goodness for when you cannot be bothered cooking! It’s always clean, friendly staff, the food is tasty and the serves are big! I like the prawns best, always fresh, juicy and the crumb is delicious! I thinks it’s the extra touch of garlic :) And don’t forget the packs! Great value, as are the chicken burgers and the big fat chips! *air punch* So it’s not breaking any new ground, but hey? Who cares. It’s still bloody tasty! 4 stars of deep fried goodness!

I have passed this shop a few times and wondered if I should try as it is getting increasingly difficult to find a decent chippy. The shop is clean and well presented and displays a sense of care. Offering a healthy(perhaps the the best word) range of options, this time I was after the traditional Fish and Chips. Overall I am satisfied as the fish bater was no too thick, was not greasy and the chips were well cooked(even though they were factory made) — What happened to real potatoes by the way? The staff were friendly(Nice Asian people) — and even provided a little extra to the order. I would use them again for sure

Pretty damn good for a little old local fish and chips spot! They do catering, but I’ve never tried that service out — I’m just here for some butterfish and chippies when I’m feeling lazy. Prices are nice and cheap, which of course is important when you’re talking takeaway food. They do butterfish, garfish, whiting, big juicy prawns, calamari and of course the classic old ‘seafood stick’. A pack with fish, chips and tartare is pretty reasonable — $ 6.50. There is a bunch of standard takeaway salads, essential for washing down the fried foods: Greek, tabouli, coleslaw, garden, pasta, potato. My big thing with fried food is clean, crisp oil, and this place does that well. The other side to the store is the yiros, burgers, steak sandwiches and hotdogs. I’ve never tried any of these so I can’t offer much advice. Except that some of the more wacky yiros ideas have me a little suspicious — ‘Aussie’ yiros, ‘Hawaiian’ yiros and ‘Seafood’ yiros. Yeah, I dunno. The vegetarian one sounds ok — zuchinni and cheese croquettes.
