Waited ten minutes for a cappuccino and it was absolutely putrid! Boiling hot milk, and im not exaggerating, scalding hot! And tasted like the cheapest instant coffee from a cafateria!

One of the cutest café on the strip. It’s quiet and low key. There’s a lovely courtyard seating that opens up to a side street. Whilst other cafes in this area are quite polished, this café is humble in presentation but big on food. It was packed during my visit, and the coffee was great. They also have fresh juices, which is a plus, and the food all looks amazing. Service is fast, fuss free and friendly Overall, if you are happy with good healthy fast lunch this is a great café with everything you need.

Rocket is a comfortable café that was buzzing when I stopped by for lunch. It appeared well staffed and they were efficient and friendly when serving the lunchtime crowd. You’ll find typical café fare here, from sandwiches to focaccias, cakes and bikkies. Rocket also has a juice blender so you can order up freshly blended juice as well. I had a turkey sandwich which was fresh tasting and for someone who doesn’t generally eat the crust of square loaf bread, I did on this one. It was okay. Coffee looked and smelt great although I didn’t have one, but the ladies over the next table did and one of them had a chai latte as well which looking at it you could make out the spices in the drink. Seating is provided outside on the footpath of Burgundy St, nice on a sunny day, inside and out the back in a small open courtyard. Note ashtrays on the tables in the courtyard.
