Chips were so fatty I couldn’t eat them. The guy didn’t even salt them either! And he also sneezed and didn’t wash his hands. I’ve been going here for years but I will never return.

Why do we buy BBQ chicken? Anyone who answered ‘becuase Chicken tastes good’ is lying! Most chicken shop chicken is dry and over cooked and generally goes down a LOT better in a roll smothered in mayo. The REAL reason is… the SKIN!
OH YEAH BABY! Chicken skin is the BALLS! Any shop that has crap chicken skin should shut its doors! Fortunately this is not the case with Urban Chicken, their skin tastes the way it should ie. freaking awesome! Am I the type of person who makes chicken skin sangers? Yes, damn straight I am!
The chips are ok also… wait…a lightning bolt has just struck my brain! Two chips wrapped in chicken skin! I just died a little inside, in a good way!

Urban Chicken is located on Belair Road, and my local chicken store fix.
In both fact and theory this is a fantastic chicken shop, with urban «chick» décor and a golden menu of food. Expect to find succulent chicken, and delicious (chicken) salted hot chips. Mmmm, so good! There is also a brilliant selection of salads.
The store itself looks great with a modern barn-​like setting, scattered seating and parking on the premises. It is quick and efficient, and the perfect take away dinner when cooking is not on the agenda.
I have said it before, and I will say it again, clucking awesome!
