Room 680 is the type of place that seemed great when you were first allowed to legally drink. It was close by, everyone else was going there and it wasn’t hard to get into. How the times have changed.
I remember when Room 680 was the place to be. Now it just seems washed up and nowhere near as impressive as we once believed it to be.
The only time that Room 680 seems to pull a decent crowd is for the foam parties that are favoured by students or when they are hosting particular DJs.
Of all the clubs on Glenferrie Road this is probably the best, but that isn’t saying much. If you are after a more toned down and frankly, better location for drinking then head around the corner to the Nevermind Bar.
