Real first aid uses role playing and props such as fake blood, flashing lights, sirens, and make up, to create a realistic training environment. Simulation training increases student retention through an interactive and cost effective course. Simulation training in a realistic environment is the best way to prepare for a real emergency, because in life there are no second chances.

History

Established in 2009.

Real First Aid was founded in 2009 to be different from any other type of First Aid courses in Australia. The courses are based on proven military, aviation and professional medical methods. Real First Aid creates realistic scenarios in which its students train in as opposed to slideshows and classroom theory. These scenarios utilise special effects such as smoke, lighting, sounds and makeup.

Meet the Business Owner

Benjamin K.

Business Owner

After Ben completed high school in Australia he joined the Israeli Ambulance overseas volunteer program where he was trained as a Basic Life Support Medic. Later he completed an Instructor course and began to train new volunteer medic from around the world. During his undergraduate degree of Marine Biology (yes he is a Seinfeld fan) Ben founded a Melbourne based First Aid training company to offer a change in traditional training to a scenario-​based style of training. Currently Ben is completing his Advanced Life Support Training at Monash University while still trying to travel overseas as much as he can.
