After reading all of the great reviews of Joe’s pizza, we had a hankering for traditional, thin crust pizza and ordered two takeaways one Sunday night, one margarita and one bacon.
When I went in to order the pizzas, it was pretty quiet in the restaurant, there was about a 15 minute wait for our order. The service was polite and friendly, and payment is cash only.
The margarita was delish — yummy, thin crust, and if you like the Pizza Hut/​Dominos/​Eagle Boys style this is probably not the pizza for you. I think the simplicity of a margarita pizza is perfect when it’s good. This margarita definitely was good. I expected the bacon pizza to have a few rashers, but instead was covered with diced bacon. The amount of bacon was quite overwhelming, and we ended up eating half a piece each and leaving the rest.
Overall, great pizza, but we don’t recommend the bacon :)
