Cute little café. Friendly staff. Great coffee. Sweet potato rosti dish was just ok– thought the sweet potato could have been cooked more(was a bit crunchy) but BF loved his avocado smash on sourdough. Standout was def the spelt apple muffin, served warm alongside plenty of butter. It wasn’t too sweet and was chock full of whole grain goodness, totally yum. Good value for money too. I’m a fan!

Seriously the best part about Gosford. If you need somewhere to get away from the drivel that is the Gosford inhabitants, head to Jimmy G’s. The pies are all made in store and the chunky beef is actually chunky. None of this rat meat stew that servo’s push out the door. The Red Curry Pie also has to be one of the tastiest pie’s I’ve ever tasted. There is plenty more than just pies as well — sourdough, paninis, lasagna, croissants and every other sort of tasty baked goods you can think of – all of which are made daily. Still, I can’t give enough praise about those pies. The cherry on the cake is the the coffee. Freshly ground beans and some of the nicest coffee that has been pulled. A nice touch is the basket of rugs that Jimmy is so kind to loan out. Take your coffee and a rug and sit in the park on a sunny day. It actually makes Gosford seem pleasant! Did I mention that the pie’s are absolutely superb?
