Well what can I say… AMAZING!
This hardware store is great, huge shop, huge variety of products and great service.
This store has all you need for the home, work or garden.
All the staff are friendly and there for you.

This is my closest hardware store, so it probably rates a little higher in my eyes because of that, but there seriously isn’t much you could need from a hardware store that you won’t find in here.
The garden/​nursery section is huge, and carries a particularly varied range. I’ve bought several very healthy plants from here and have been impressed with how they’ve gone since, so maybe they’re not grown in some kind of ultra perfect environment like many offerings?
Staff are plentiful, and very willing to help. There’s a second section I didn’t even know existed till recently, over behind the main store — there’s also a small carpark tucked away there, too, if you come in off Glynburn Road rather than from Montacute. That, incidently, is my one gripe here — you can’t go turn to the right out onto Montacute, or when you come out onto Glynburn, so I often end up going round the block just to get to be heading home again.

This really is a great Mitre 10 store. The staff are super-​friendly, they always say hi to me on the way in, and there always seems to be plenty of people to serve and help you. If anything they are dying to help you, so throw them a bone and let them show you what they know coz it’s alot. In a nutshell — my fave hardware store!

Everyone knows Mitre 10 and I’ve been to many different ones but if I’d had to pick my favourite one, this would be it. Staff are always extremely helpful and very friendly. No matter what you need, someone’s there very quickly to give you advice. They don’t try to sell you the most expensive item they have and give you their honest opinion. Great and very professional.
There’s also heaps of parking on site.
