Need I say it again, loyal followers of mine?
No toilet, no park.
It’s a massive no-​brainer.
I KNOW people in the old days didn’t have toilets in their parks and I underSTAND most of these local parks are close enough to a visitor’s house a toilet seems redundant, but I like to visit local parks that aren’t local to me. And what about me?! It isn’t fair.
But aside from the toilet business, I don’t like all the bark here. I vaguely remember hating bark as a kid. It’s a little bit of a party killer. It’s fun to raise hell on a playground without those darned, constricting things we grown-​ups call ‘shows’ strapped to the foot, but bark makes this freedom uncomfortable.

This may be an old playground but all things considered, it’s a pretty decent one. It has equipment that would suit a range of skills and ages and well worth a look if you’re around this area.
It’s a fully fenced playground, which you need seeing as you’re surrounded by streets on every side. There is absolutely nothing here except for the playground, not even a tap. Dogs are not allowed and there is no shade/​shelter. So why the four stars? Because it’s not often you find a suburban ‘back streets’ playground that could appeal to a wide range of children.
