What I like about this place is that it is a fishmonger, as well as a take away place — meaning they have a wonderful selection of fresh fish on offer. There is also a small dining room for those who would like to take the time to eat in the centre, which looks nicely appointed — though I’ve never stayed to eat.
I like that you can choose the classic fish and chips, or take a slightly healthier approach and choose one of their salads in place of the chips.
The fish is tasty and well cooked, though I didn’t overly love the chips the time that I had them — can’t quite put my finger on what it was, whether it was the chip itself, or the oil they were cooked in, but they just weren’t the amazing chips I was expecting.
Still — if you’re after some tasty fish for lunch, definitely check it out.
