Stopped by here as our other fave in malaga was closed during the new year break. We ordered the pork chop broken rice, iced coffee, grilled pork and spring roll noodle salad and crispy chicken broken rice. The pork chop was delicious it was marinated in lemongrass and the rice was so delicious and fragrant must have been cooked in chicken fat and stock! the noodle salad was delightful, had heaps of marinated grilled pork and the spring rolls were still crispy with the light and tangy dressing. The coffee was perfect– not too sweet and still had a great coffee kick to it!!! There was also a massive queue outside this little gem so make sure you go super early. There was even a queue at lunch. Must be the one to go to in the area! Also cash only!

I think I made it my mission to find unphogettable phở in Perth since I was my second year of uni. This place has become one of my favourites alongside Toto’s in Vic Park and Vietnosh in Nedlands. The broth is so flavourful and clear and food is always fresh here. Would definitely recommend the phở tai(raw beef and rice noodle soup). Prices are great. And just as a note, cash only. :)

I’m in love :) This place is fresh, fast and cheap. Most dishes are about $ 12 — what an awesome price for a big serving. The tables have 2 types of chillies, pickled onions, black pepper and a few other condiments for you to choose from. In addition to this, when you order phở dishes, they bring out lemon slices, fresh mint leaves, bean sprouts and cabbage to add to your soup as well. Everyone at our table was happy with their dishes. We had phở noodle combination, phở with beef balls and the spicy pork and beef. We also had iced coffee and jack fruit thick shakes as well. There was complimentary tea, peanuts and sliced oranges too. This place is a winner, I’d be back more often if it wasn’t so far away!

Trang’s have one of the better phở offerings in Perth that I’ve tried. Their servings are massive, and the broth is fabulous — really layered in flavour. I always order the raw beef phở there which has tender strips of meat. The stuffed chicken wings aren’t as strong as the noodles which is a little disappointing but their fried spring rolls are tasty — full of mushroom and other great ingredients. The restaurant is clean and the staff friendly. I really like their wheat based tea which is provided at the start with compliments — and with a bowl of salted peanuts to snack on. It’s these little touches combined with their yummy food that has me coming back time and time again.

My new favourite vietnamese place. This is authentic vietnamese food. I’ve been a few times and tried numerous dishes and they were all good. You must try the bun rieu. I think it’s a special for some days only. Beware it can get pack and you made need to wait outside. But it’s worth it.

Trang’s is great! Their chicken hofan soup is so tasty and they give you tea while you wait for your takeaway order. Lovely people and delicious food.

Woke up with a Phở craving yesterday & decided to drag my girlfriend here. I’m really glad that we did. We were greeted politely and sat quickly, and given free peanuts and tea. I ordered the raw beef & meatball phở, she had the garlic chicken rice noodle stir fry. We were advised there would be a 15 minute wait on the stir fry, which was no problem(we wern’t expecting our food to take less than 15 minutes anyway) The phở that came out is the biggest I’ve had so far in Perth, especially for the low price of $ 10. They were very generous with the meat as well, something that a few other places in Perth are lacking. My partners meal was massive as well, and she said it was really tasty. From what I tried it was good, but the phở was the winner. Will definitely be back, very impressed.

My new go to for Vietnamese. I’ve been searching for good Vietnamese since I moved to Perth 2 years ago. I’ve been to Trangs twice now and the food is seriously good, consistent, and priced way below standard Perth /WA pricing. So far I’ve tried the Phở, Fried Rice noodles, Fresh rice paper rolls with prawn and pork, and a dry Vermicelli noodle bowl with spring rolls and pork. It’s all been excellent. I’ve been taking the items to eat at home but I can say that the restaurant is nicely renovated and they’ve been very patient and nice to me when I’ve been in.

Love Vietnamese PHO. If you haven’t tried it, you gotta make your way to Girrawheen & i can guarantee its worth your trip. When i was living in Melbourne, I had a mission to try all the Vietnamese phở & i had tried quite a few ‘good’ places. I have been told the flavours by individual cooks/chefs will depend on the areas they were brought up in Vietnam. The café has been newly renovated in hopes not to lose its regular customers to the nearby brand new vietnamese phở restaurant. There are heaps of choices to choose from phở to broken rice dishes. My recommendations are combination phở &3 coloured drink. oh also try the traditional iced coffee(black coffee with condensed milk). Oh my, i gotta stop typing now as I’m salivating lol: D
