Tides Of Geraldton

It gets four stars because the lovely view of the Indian Ocean was included.
To me this was a nice restaurant in a large country town.
The variety in the menu was there and wine list quite impressive selections but I guess my expectations were as high up as the restaurant itself.
There is a lift inside the arcade you need to take to get to the restaurant
They have all sorts of different seafood dishes available along with usual suspects with a splash of seafood thrown in for good taste.
I had the steak with prawns served with a nice sauce.
Whilst the food was lovely it didn’t send my taste buds into a happy dance which I thought it might have when the food was presented so nicely, however the view made up for that.
If you are in town and would like to go somewhere to have a nice meal with a great ocean view then this is the place

Situated up a few levels up, entry via an elevator.
Amazing views, lovely sunset… had a ship coming in tonight… Regular work dinner.
Always a treat to dine at this place.
We had some garlic Turkish bread with a few spreads. I chose my favourite squid ink pasta (yum!) but my colleagues had the fillet steak with blue cheese– looked amazing!
Would definitely recommend this fine dining place to anyone visiting Geraldton.
Great for a casual night out also.
Service is hit and miss, food is always great. Pricing is ok — between $ 25-​$ 44 for main course.
Décor is not that special but good enough just being spoilt by the 180 degrees of harbour/​ocean views.
