The way I feel when I walk into Workout World is probably the way Arnold Schwarzenegger feels when he won Mr. Olympia (one of his life goals was to was to become the greatest bodybuilder in the world, which he won 7 times!) or voted in as the Governor of California. One of his noted quotes: «Why not compete? «
Yet, like Arnie, I love going to the gym. So I make sure to keep up with what’s the latest gym products by walking into Workout World — and thinking of what I need to support me in my gym activities.
Thorough a lack of funds, I really can’t afford anything in here. My dreams of becoming Mr. Olympia are unfortunately on hold… I think it’s a little bit too late for me. Maybe my son will have a better chance than me in the next generation.
But every so often when the fitness bug is gnawing at my insides, I’ll step inside and allow myself to visualize myself working out in front of the mirror, lifting heavy free weights, or using any of the countless machines that are on sale here.
When my personal trainer comes back knocking on my door — I will come back here.
I only joined my first gym a few years ago, and I should’ve started earlier when I was in high school. My body has benefited from all the work on the machines. You’ll need to pay a lot of money for the perfect gym lifestyle, but think of what each new machine will do for you. If I could afford it, I’d definitely be looking more into this store.
And what a better way to work out than do it inside your own house, without having to deal with crowded gym rooms, man?!?
