Fresh and fab. Love their lamb pizza. I order delivery regularly and it’s never a long wait. Generous topping on a tasty base. My kids love the cheese pizza and the Forest vegetarian.

They do a great family pick up deal which still costs less than a single meal at most restaurants($ 28 — Family size pizza, garlic bread and a 2L soft drink). The pizza base was perfect and the pepperoni was delicious. If you’re local and looking for a great pizza place, look no further.

HUGE is the first word that springs to mind. «Uh uh», I say to myself. «There is NO way I can eat my share of that.» The pizzas that come from Forest Gourmet Pizza are, you guessed it, MASSIVE. Absolutely giant. Enormous. Oversized. Whether eating in the restaurant and enjoying its beautiful view of Warringah Road, or taking away to the comfort of your own home, the pizzas are always of a considerable size. They taste good, too — I’m personally a big fan of the BBQ chicken number. Unlike so many pizzas that use BBQ sauce, it’s not too sweet tasting. Rather, the ingredients combine perfectly in my mouth for an excellent pizza experience. The vegetarian is also a good call — while many less creative pizza venues offer veggie options with capsicum, mushroom and not much else, Forest Gourmet Pizzas has vegetarian options with artichoke, eggplant, olives or chilli. Now that’s what I call a vegetable pizza! As I might’ve mentioned before, the pizzas are quite large. They are not, however, overly expensive. Rather, they come at the same price as pizzas elsewhere tend to, but with more pizza — amazing! My only issue with Forest Gourmet Pizzas is the speed — probably because they are woodfired and freshly made, they take sooooooo long to come out. I would suggest anyone wanting to take away rings from home first, rather than turning up and waiting 40 minutes. Not a mistake that I’ll make on what promises to be a return visit.
