Amazing food — Amazing drinks — Great service — wish they had Air Conditioning but beyond that this is a must try place. Do yourself a favour

Refreshing new taste in town. We ordered across the menu and were not disappointed. Not having boas before I m a fan now. Softshell crab is always a must order!!!

In the latest fad of über hip Brisbane eats specialising in just one food item, in struts Bao Down Now serving up, yep you guessed it: Bao. The menu is limited but very tasty in its simplicity, Bao options include pork belly, chicken karaage, beef brisket, soft shell crab and tofu. Their teapot cocktails are delicious too and super cute. The digs are very«urban street»… plentiful graffitied walls, DJ booth, loungey couches and casually pretentious(or pretentiously casual?) staff still seemingly finding their groove with that little thing called customer service. I know this place just opened a week ago but the lovely boys behind the bar could work on their attention to detail, our table was brought out incorrect items, twice. This will no doubt be a popular late night pit stop to refuel while bar hopping in the Valley but they’re also open for lunch and dinner seven days which adds another great option to the growing Valley ‘scene’.
