A pretty good place in Five Dock to enjoy almond biscuits and other Italian bikkies. The coffee is generally good but the service is a bit touch and go depending on who is on. The cakes are good for birthdays and special gifts. The lobster tail bikkies are a favourite.

I’ve been a fan of this place since it used to be /right there/at the bus stop on the way home from school and they seriously did and still do the best cannoli I’ve ever ever had. Expanded from the tiny beginnings so long ago(how long is a mystery to me), this place is my go to for afternoon tea catering, for clients, for work, or purely just for a snack. Everything is obviously made by them, and absolutely delicious. What more can I say about a family business that has been run so successfully as to remain current and very(extremely) relevant, judging by the queues and the wait time for service(brief but intense). The smell of the coffee is amazing, but I have yet to sit down and experience the pleasure of this Pasticceria — I think because I always see it as that small original one-panel bakery that I used to rush into after school, and not the big melting pot of cream, pastry and coffee it is today(it’s taken over the adjacent shops to become one big shop) Love it.
