Boutique painting classes for both beginners and those with some previous experience. Classes are small and informal, and students may join at any time. Night classes include wine and cheese, day classes coffee and cakes.

History

Established in 2009.

Painting for Beginners began when a need for a ‘back to basics’ method of teaching was identified. The course is designed to provide students with an understanding of basic colour theory, composition and a general understanding of materials and techniques, and to enable them to continue painting with confidence at home. All classes include at least one life drawing session. Many students have continued after completing the 8 week course, and every year there is an exhibition of student work.

Business Owner

Adriane is a professional practicing artist exhibiting regularly in Australia and overseas. She has won many awards and is represented in public and private collections around the world. She has an MFA from Monash University and has fifteen years of teaching experience.
