Mulbury

I like the selection of gifts and homewares stocked in Mulbury, especially the items that feature reclaimed timber. The selection of chunky timber photo frames is impressive. This isn’t a store filled with slick hipster pastels and «trendy» items, but rather classics that will last a long time and survive through multiple interior decorating trends over the years.
Gift wrapping is also available if you lack the creative talent or can’t be bothered battling the sticky tape and twine at home.

…Because who doesn’t want a gorgeous recycled timber picture frame? Truly, these guys take Industrial chic to an enviable perfect-​fit-​out level.
From wrought iron window grates to cupboard knobs and coat racks, everything old has a creative new life at Mulbury. The nautical theme seems to run deep with large glass bottles, ship lights and life saving rings, but artifacts range from old keys to saints to glove molds. They have a few new products in the shop as well, but it’s the gorgeous pieces they’ve given new life that are the true stand outs. Prices are decent as well — (25−30ish/handmade frame seems more than fair).
I love finding new purposes for old familiar things, and I love it even more when someone else does that for me. Inspiration galore!

I fell in love with Mulbury when I first walked inside. The atmosphere was calm, the space resembled a gallery crossed with an antique store and they had some beautiful frames and home wares.
The frames are all made from Australian wood that has either been recycled or rescued — and they are pretty cheap too, considering the quality of the workmanship and amount of work that has gone into making these gorgeous frames. They have ones that range from $ 30 and are fairly small to enormous frames that hang from the wall.
Mulbury also stocks some gorgeous hangers, decorated plates and milk jugs. They have old stamps, woodcarvings and statues. Mulbury also has some beautiful furniture including shelves and small tables.
Like the frames, everything in here is a reasonable price.
The service is friendly and helpful, the sales assistant told us about the products and a bit about the Mulbury backstory and was perfectly happy to let us browse and enjoy the wares.
