If you have vegan/vegetarian/paleo/refined sugar hating kind of dietary restrictions, this place will be heaven for you. Personally, as an ‘eat all the things’ kind of person, I thought you had to order way too much to feel satisfied and wasn’t really taken by any of it. However, this concept is not designed for me. I want to give credit where it’s due because they have put a lot of thought into the space and it will totally float some people’s boats. Essentially there are 3 businesses within this spot — Coffee Supreme for coffee, Fred Gets for lunch and Ace for sweet raw-food treats. This is a tad confusing because you pay separately at each spot. Fred Gets is the most confusing, because you build your own combination from a whole heap of vegetables, salads and extra bits and pieces. One of those times where to order quickly, you’ll have zero clue how much you’re getting or what you just spent. BUT if you want to be picky, it’s perfect that everything is split apart and can be customised to your tastes. Again, a concept you’ll really appreciate if you’re in the target market. They have pretty packaged green juices(why do I keep fooling myself into thinking these won’t taste horrible?!) and big vats of flavoured iced tea. Definitely worth checking out if it fits your lifestyle/dietary needs, but leave your unhealthy carnivorous friends at home for this one.

I’m going to be quick as I was in and out here in about 15 minutes. Fred Gets serves up salad, arancini balls, open pitas. That kind of no fuss vegan fare. Friendly in your face, non-righteous vegans. Delicious food. Good serves. Coffee Supreme is serving up two types of batch brews, and espresso. Great serving platters and cups. Fred Gets also has the Pana Chocolate range plus their slices to buy. Ace sells raw cookies and almond/nut milks. You have to pay separately for each business but it’s hardly a deal breaker. The open, bright, and clean window front is also a break up to most of what’s along Smith St. Check it out.
