Firle Super Laundrette

If you don’t own a tumble dryer, unfortunately winter sometimes requires you to make a detour to a laundrette. How I hate them. You wait and wait, put more coins in, and when you leave your sheets and towels still aren’t entirely dry. If it wasn’t for the interesting creatures you get to see in there I would probably try to dry my stuff at home with a hair-​dryer.
Firle Super Laundrette is conveniently located in Firle Plaza, so you can at least combine it with going to the supermarket. Overall I’ve always been satisfied with this place because I never had to wait for a dryer and they have a coin machine, which I need about 99% of the time I go to a laundrette.
In terms of price and service I guess it’s like everywhere else. Around $ 2 for 8 minutes in the dryer and you’ll probably have to use it twice, maybe 3 times depending on what and how much you put in it.
One time there seemed to be a problem with their machines and all the dryers (including stuff that came out of them) smelled of gas. Not very nice. But it seems that it was a one-​off problem, so 4 stars for Firle Super Laundrette with their coin machine.
