Rude management Not allowed to have drinks in a beer garden, No sweet chilli sauce with wedges. Cocktails served with flat soft drink. If your after a rundown venue with average service this is ur place Been coming here for years but won’t be returning

Evening everyone. After a few years away I am back. And with a vengeance. Many of us have left the lollie factory in Scoresby and the Pik Monster and myself now organise a 4 weekly catch up. This time is was 15 of us at Captain Americas and yes I tried the challenge. 1kg burger and 600g of chips. What was I thinking. When it turned up was ready to leave and skulk away but had to give it a go. Burger was awesome and gone in about 12 minutes. It was all the chips that were the real challenge. 51 minutes later it was gone!!! My name is now on the wall but my time is No where near the ridiculous record of 7 minutes. I really enjoyed the burger and will just order the normal burger and monster onion rings next time. Off to QLD in a few weeks so looking for a few nice places up there. The eating experience continues…

I love this place I’ve been coming since I was a kid it’s originally known as captain Americas but I guess they have joined the Hamburger Heaven chain of restaurants from the U. S, None the less the staff are all still the same from 20 years ago they are all still polite as ever The inside of the restaurant is done up with all sorts of American memorabilia like number plates from every single state in the U. S they usually have a black Cadillac parked out the front which brings back fond childhood memory’s. Now down to the eating if u saw the monstrous burgers in my pics you will see what me & my brother attempted to finish, I got about ¾ thru it & that was enuff my brother on the other hand had been starving himself & was able to eat the whole meal in under 30 mins. For his effort the meal was free for him they took his picture & put it up on the wall of every person that has completed the task. They also have a huge range of cocktails which are all really good, Its great family night out you don’t have to go for the big burger like myself Hamburger heaven has everything an American themed restaurant should have. Until next time Hamburger Heaven I will beat you & get my pic up on the board lol

Service here was absolutely amazing. probably one of the best I’ve seen… I had the ribs tonight and admittedly I wasn’t too please with it… but the service definately made up for it. would come back and try something else… out of the 4 stars I gave in this review 3 ¼ of it was down to the service… Hats off to the waiting staff

The atmosphere is great and the staff are lovely, but the ingredients stick a little too close to their American inspiration. You can get a better burger at a good pub, but you won’t get the memorabilia, I guess?

As an American, I can say this is the real deal. Very good meals for reasonable prices. Bring your appetite!

American by name, American by nature, Captain America’s Hamburger Heaven is everything you want in a theme restaurant. The burgers here are huge. So huge most are held together by large toothpicks that you’d almost be able to use in your garden as a stake. Served with heaps of chips, it’s a challenge in itself to eat the whole thing. I once had a friend who geared himself up for a challenge they were holding, in which you had to clear your plate in 15 minutes to recieve your meal for free. They also have a cocktail bar, and it you are a vegetarian, you wont miss out on the action, as they have a massive vegie burger too.

Captain America’s Hamburger Heaven? Not on my list of places to visit again. The building is all dolled up to look american and the décor is the same on the inside. Unfortunately the building is looking a little worse for wear these days so it doesn’t look too captain-like or new. Inside looks quite dated despite the flashy menus and signs. The blue tables and brown chairs remind me of cheap meals at Rollerama as they have the same tables and chairs. The service here is good, but unfortunately the food lets it down. The burgers are expensive — think around $ 15 each. They are pretty greasy and taste like the ones you buy at Coles for a few bucks. The rest of the hamburger isn’t that special and there is no secret flavouring or anything that makes them stand out. The chips are pretty average too. In fact, most of the meals seem as though they could be reproduced just about anywhere. If I am going to go to a restaurant I want to eat food that I either don’t know how to cook or couldn’t reproduce if I tried… just sayin’. One good thing about this place is the bar. They stock American drinks and alcohol here and I know a lot of people who like to go there to remember their trip to the US of A. They have American Budseiser for $ 6 to name one. It would be a good place to go in a group but I really didn’t like the food all that much and I didn’t feel as though I was in an American Superhero’s shop. I definitely knew I was in Australia in an old building disguised as an American haven. It was a let down.
