Ducked in on a whim after seeing the reviews on here, and yes, this one is a rare find indeed — hot dogs for $ 3.50, huge thick sliced(like doorstops) ham and cheese sandwiches for $ 3.80, a loaf of the softest bread you’ll find for $ 2.20 — caramel slices, rocky road, chocolate eclairs, baked cheesecake, all around the $ 2.50 mark — and they’re great size servings, too. Impressive. I didn’t get to try the coffee — it was a hit and run with the kids in tow(school holidays and trying to keep ‘em quiet) but the tables outside had a good amount of people sitting with coffee’s and food — that’s got to be a good sign for a small bakery tucked in a corner of a small shopping centre. Cash only is a bit of a pain, but a lot of small bakeries seem to work on that principle, so par for the course. Everything in there looked clean, fresh, and delicious. I’d recommend a visit :)

I went here with my girlfriend for a speedy feed before doing the weekly shop at the Woolworths next door. I got myself your standard beef pie — delicious — reminded me of the beef pies I used to get back home(A cliché statement I know). My girlfriend also got herself a custom made sandwich, which according to her was very decent indeed. The woman who served us was very polite and helpful as well. And on top of it all prices were certainly below your average bakery/café prices.

This was a rare little find and has some of the cheapest baked goods I have ever seen! Their range of cakes look delicious and are so reasonably priced it is almost unbelievable. You can buy a whole cake of the sliced version they have on display for the same change you would use to buy a drink at a pub. It makes for a really good catering option if you need to take a plate to a party or gathering and can buy a whole banana loaf for $ 6! The store is quite small and at lunchtime can get busy and quite crowded. However, there is ample seating out the front and some really nice tables to perch on if you would rather eat in. There was lots of customers buying sandwiches and rolls. There is a cabinet of yummy looking ones already prepared, but you can also have you own made if nothing in there takes your fancy. The only problem is that being tucked in off the road and in the corner of the plaza, it gets little exposure except for people who know it is there, or who like me popped in to the Woolworths next door and then happened to come across it.
