Between Fairway Reserve and Pinewood Reserve(an oval) is a little stretch of green I’ve always known as Legana Reserve. I don’t think it’s got a real name, if anything it’ll have been tacked onto Fairway Reserve. It deserves its own special mention for two reasons. One, Fairway looks completely different to Legana. If you’re after trees, a path with trees over it, and that typical Australiana look, go to Fairway. If you want a big stretch of grass to have a picnic, go to Legana. If you’re after a hill, somewhere to ride your bike, or a place to jog, go to Fairway. The second reason is the telegraph poles. They’re really cool. Legana has two main selling points. The grass and the telegraph poles. On a sunny day, the stretch is incredibly picturesque and I’ve got many lovely photographs of the moon rising behind them.
