My mother told me this was the best place to get Turkish food in Fairfield. I’m still not sure I believe her, but they definitely do a mean Adana kebab. The inside leaves a lot to be desired of this place, it’s very«take away» feel — the glass shelves inside. Which were empty and didn’t have the regular salads you associate with kebab places. Lots of seating inside and a TV on the wall. The front of the store has a huge glass window with the coal fire burning for your various shish kebabs to be cooked on. Which we ordered two of because I was craving chunky lamb skewered pieces with some salad. They only have 2 types of salad to choose from to put on your shish roll. Either a tomato and onion based one. Or an onion and onion based one. I really only wanted some tabouli on it, but it wasn’t an option. This caused sad face to appear. They also have ayran(which is a turkish yoghurty sorta drink) that perked me up a bit. But not enough to give them 4 stars.
