This is my favourite frozen yogurt chain, mainly because of the self service aspect. I like that I am able to choose how much yogurt or mixins I put in my cup, and that I can get different flavours of yogurt in one go. It’s perfect for when I want to have just a little or when I want to stuff myself silly with frozen yogurt. The variety of flavours and mixins are very good, my favourite flavours are taro and green tea. They have a loyalty card which allows you to earn points on your purchases. It is one of the few establishments in Eastwood that are open til late and are perfect for late night cravings.

These YogurBerry shops seem to keep appearing all over the place. Especially in high density asian population areas but being asian myself I really don’t mind. As you walk into the shop it feels like you are entering into a new universe of happiness. You almost expect hello kitty & miffy to make an appearance as the smiling workers greet you, smiles and all with their bright white shirts and pink aprons. The attendants are great & if you are unsure of what you are getting into they are more than happy to help. There will be 6 flavours(usually) for the 3 yoghurt machines. The natural one is a winner. Their fruit flavours could do with some work but a personal favourite that is not so consistant in making an appearance is the Taro. Not only does it look fun cause it’s purple, the taste is ab fab! After you have chosen your fro-yo in the novelty sized cup it is time to choose your toppings. I tend to go with their mochi(rice balls), fruit jelly and whatever seasonal fruit they have. Mange, peaches, lychee and passionfruit go well together. If you are a fan of chocolate then they have a great selection to choose from. You can mix and match to your own delight. The best thing is that if you don’t like the mix you only have yourself to blame! It’s pay by weight. place your cup on the scale and bam! time to pay up. I am unsure of what the ratio is on price per gram but my wife and I got a decent portion each which totaled to $ 10 — $ 5 a piece was not bad at all. It is cash only so be warned, plenty of ATM’s near by. Personally I have to say it is possibly the best ‘fro-yo’ you can find in Sydney. It’s become our fave spot if we are watching our bellies and not wanting to go with a heavier dessert. The atmosphere in the store is great, staff are friendly and we leave satisfied.
