When the work day extends way past the usual hours the last thing you want to think about is cooking dinner when you get home.
Even as a local in the Epping area, my friend hadn’t been here before. It’s not swish, but clean and not squishy.
Friendly welcome, interesting menu and great food. The pancakes were delicious, and I loved the ginger hit in the scallops.
My work mate and I also wanted to talk about things, not work, so we enjoyed the quietish atmosphere where we could actually chat and sort out the meaning of life.
My only regret is that I forgot to pick up a menu for take away orders for those nights when I’m driving past, on the way home to my sad, empty fridge!
